Boba Fett's History:

Many legends and stories have arisen around the galaxy about the mysterious bounty hunter, Boba Fett. He was once the high-moralled journeyman protector Jaster Mereel, but he was exiled from his homeworld of Concord Down after he had killed a corrupt protector colleague.

Since his possible background with the Mandalorian warriors was where he most likely learned all of his great combat skills during the Clone Wars, Fett has worked as a bodyguard, mercenary, assassin, and soldier, but most frequently, as the highest paid bounty hunter of all known systems. Suited in the fear-inspiring Mandalorian battle-armor, Boba Fett has modified it into a walking arsenal.

Fett's main ship is called the SLAVE I. The ship has also been modified by Fett and stripped down for pure speed. The ship is a rare example of the Kuat Systems Engineering Firespray-class starfighter. Before and during the Clone Wars, bounty hunters often possessed some kind of Firespray patrol craft. The SLAVE I is faster than the Millennium Falcon in hyperspace, has a high-tech navicomputer and electronic 3-D maps of all systems and is also very maneuverable. It could give 4-5 one man fighters like TIE-fighters a very close match in a dogfight. The ship has a food supply meant for keeping it's one crew member, Boba Fett, alive for six months. It has a cargo capacity of over forty metric tons, and that's much more than needed for one frozen Han Solo. Also, the passenger capacity is six, but they are all prisoners. The ship has become infamous because of Boba Fett deadly additions to it. Boba Fett has added so many hidden special weapons to the SLAVE I, that no one except Fett knows more than a few of them.

Fett has found employment without trouble for numerous gangsters or gang lords, including the late Jabba the Hutt and for several Imperials, above all, Darth Vader. When Lord Vader hired Boba Fett to find Captain Han Solo of the rebellion, a man with mysterious links to Fett's past, this bounty hunter was most successful. Han Solo was frozen in carbonite and then transported to Fett's ship. The rebel captain's friends tried to stop Boba Fett from lifting off, but they were too late. Fett was already on his way to Jabba the Hutt to bring Solo to justice! A huge rescue plan was set in motion by Solo's friends. When they were all transported to the Great Pit of Carkoon, the nesting place of the dreaded Sarlacc monster of the Dune Sea, Luke Skywalker, a Jedi-to-be, kept Fett occupied in a hand-to-hand combat. When Skywalker moved on to fighting more of Jabba the Hutt's guards, Fett took aim and fired two shots at Luke. The third one would most certainly would have hit Luke, had it not been for the half-blind Han Solo, activating Boba Fett's rocket pack with a gaffi stick. Fett fell into the Pit of Carkoon screaming his head off. To everyone's surprise, Fett survived by shooting his way out of the Sarlacc's belly with his concussion grenades. Fett caught up with Han Solo and his newlywed wife, Princess Leia Organa Solo on Nar Shaddaa, claiming that the Sarlacc found him somewhat "undigestible." Fett chased Han Solo alongside fellow bounty hunter Dengar, in the backup starfighter, SLAVE II. As Solo's and Fett's ships closed in on their destination-planet Byss, Han managed to sneak past the planetary shields. Boba Fett was not so lucky. He and Dengar crashed into the planetary shield and the SLAVE II went spinning out of control.

After some time, Fett once again met up with Han Solo on Nar Shaddaa. But this time, Solo's friend the Wookie Chewbacca got a grip on Fett's helmet, twisted it off and sent him flying up, causing Fett to crash into the high-above ceiling headfirst. Once again, no one managed to get even a peek of Boba Fett's face. Boba Fett chased Han Solo off-planet in the SLAVE I into a radioactive gas cloud. Solo found a way out right away. Boba Fett went back the way he came and waited for Solo to come back. After days of waiting, Fett finally got his reward as he spotted the Millennium Falcon exiting the gas cloud. As Fett moved into attack position, Han Solo suddenly fired some kind of lightening gun at Fett's SLAVE I, sending it spinning into the gas cloud. Fett eventually escapes from the gas cloud and has since then continued to work as the most successful bounty hunter in the galaxy.
